     Wilhelmine Schulz was born on Thursday, October 9, 1823 in Gruenfier, Posen, Preussen, Germany, daughter of Michael Schulz and Anna Christina Manthey.1 Wilhelmine was christened on October 19, 1823 in Gruenfier, Posen, Preussen.2

Wilhelmine married Gotlieb Neuendorf, son of Wilhel Neuendorf, on June 19, 1846 in Gruenfier, Posen, Preussen. They were both 23 years old at the time of their marriage.3,4 Wilhelmine Schulz and Gotlieb had two children; Johan August and Louise Bertha.5

Wilhelmine married Samuel Prochnow (widow of Gotlieb Neuendorf), son of Michael Prochnow and Anna Christina Marten, on May 13, 1856 in Germany.1,6 Four children were born to Wilhelmine and Samuel; Emma, Alvina, Fredrich, Anna.7 Granddaughter Alice Krueger Prell once stated that she had two treasured pictures of the "dear couple."8

Wilhelmine and Samuel emigrated from Germany. They were passengers on the Strassburg, which sailed from Bremen to Baltimore. On the same ship were their two children, Alwine and Friedrich (Bertha's half-sister and half-brother); plus Fredrick and Louise Bertha Krueger and their four children (Herrmann, Emil, Minna, Oswald); and Frederick's mother (Henrietta Breitkreuz Krueger).9,1

Wilhelmine and Samuel immigrated on October 9, 1881 to the USA, and settled on a farm in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, Wisconsin.1,10

Wilhelmine died on Saturday, December 12, 1914 in Wisconsin. She was 91 years old.

She was laid to rest in the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Indian Creek, Clifton Township, Monroe County, Wisconsin.1
