Martha Pauline Welke was born in September, 1890 in Iowa, daughter of William Daniel Welke and Pauline Christine Dahlke.2
Martha married Edward Louis Kirchhoff, son of Mr. Kirchhoff.
Martha appeared on the Yockey Precinct, Morrill County, Nebraska, US census of 1920 living with her husband, Edward. They were living on a farm with three of children (Llyod, Marion, and Bernice) and Edward's brother, Harry.3
Edward and Martha were still living in Yockey Precinct at the time of the 1930 US census. The four children living at home were Marion, Bernice, Douglas, and Wallace.4
Martha died in August, 1964 in Bayard, Morrill County, Nebraska. She was 73 years old.1
