     Harlan W. Weyant was born in 1899 in Iowa, son of Wilfred R. Weyant and Lottie Wiltse.1,2

According to the US census of April 16, 1910, Harlan was living at home with his parents in Lodomillo Township, Clayton County, Iowa. He was ten years old.1

He appeared on the Lodomillo Township, Clayton County, Iowa, census of January 20, 1920 living at home with his parents. He was 20 years old and was working as a laborer on the home farm for wages.3

Harlan married Mable B. about 1922.4

Harlan appeared in the Lodomillo Township, Clayton County, Iowa, US census of April 21, 1930 as head of household. He was 22 years old. He was actively farming in a general manner on a rented farm.. The household also included Mable, his wife. She was 28 years old. The three children living at home were Lucille age six, Kenneth age three, Duane who was two months old. Reuben Nelson, a 23 year old hired man, was also living with the family.4

Harlan died in 1977.2 He was laid to rest in the Greenhill Cemetery in Lodomillo Township, Clayton County, Iowa.2
