     Anna Marie Hachmann was born on Sunday, June 12, 1831 in Germany, daughter of John Frederick Hachmann and Magdalena Martens.1

Anna appeared on the Prairie Springs Township, Jackson County, Iowa, census of June 20, 1900 in the household of her nephew, John Henry Hachmann. She was recorded as 69 years old.2

Anna married Mr. Luhs.

Anna died on Friday, August 11, 1905 in St. Donatus, Jackson County, Iowa. She was 74 years old. She was laid to rest in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in St. Donatus, Jackson County, Iowa.
