     James Leroy Stewart was born on Sunday, February 19, 1922.1

At age 23, James married Leanna Ludovissy on Wednesday, October 10, 1945 in Manchester, Delaware County, Iowa. Leanna was 17 years old. She was the daughter of Leo A. Ludovissy and Viola Smith.1

On June 28, 1965, his daughter, Linda, married Gary Bond.2

His daughter, Diane, married Nyle Cummings. They were later divorced.2

On April 12, 1969, his daughter, Marilyn, married Victor Learn.2

James died on Saturday, July 25, 1992 at age 70. Cancer was the cause of his death.1 He was laid to rest in the Brown Cemetery in Colesburg, Delaware County, Iowa.1
