     Bendicht Minger was baptized Friday, July 6, 1770 in Mulchi, Canton Berne, Switzerland, , son of Bendicht Minger and Elizabeth Suri.2

Bendicht was a dairy farmer.3,1

Although they were never married, Bendicht and Magdalene Rudolf had one daughter together.1

Bendicht married Barbara Wanner, daughter of Jacob Wanner and Magdalena Andres, on October 2, 1795, in Switzerland.1

Seven children were born to Bendicht and Barbara.1 1845 his first son, Johann Ulrich, and his family (wife and eight children) were the first Mingers in our line to immigrate to the United States.1

Bendicht died on Friday, May 15, 1829 in Messen, Mulchi, Canton Berne, Switzerland, at age 58.1
