Teresa married Herman Frederick Anderegg on Monday, April 25, 1892 at Ceres Pioneer Lutheran Church, in Ceres, Clayton County, Iowa. Herman was 23 years old. He was the son of Johann A. Anderegg and Anna Magdelena Minger. Witnesses were Chas. Anderegg and Lizzie Zumer, wife of the pastor. (A note made by minister- " first English language marriage in this church.").
