Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ludovissy of Edgewood will observe their Golden Wedding Anniversary with an "open house" on Sunday December 28 from 2 until 4 o'clock in the parlors of the Methodist Church in Edgewood.
Miss Viola Smith and Mr. Ludovissy were married December 30, 1919, in Dubuque. The first twenty years of their married life were spent farming near Turkey River. in 1939 they moved to the Edgewood community where they continued to farm. Ten years ago they retired and moved to their home in Edgewood. They are the parents of three children, Mrs. Karl Putzier (Berdina) of Waverly, Mervin Ludovissy of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Le Roy Stewart (Leanna) of Strawberry point. There are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
All relatives, friends, and neighbors are cordially invited to attend the open house.
